Hence Matsyendrasana is also called a Spinal Twist and Ardha Matsyendrasana a Half Spinal Twist. Ardha Matsyendrasana helps to strengthen abdomen, chest, spine, arms and hips. Stimulates the pancreas, liver, spleen, kidneys, stomach and intestines.
HALASANA (PLOUGH POSE)
Halasana (plough pose) got its name from Indian farming tool plough due to its resemblance with that. Its intermediate level yoga pose. In this pose whole spine got stretched and it increases the blood circulation of abdominal organs and boost digestion.
PAWANMUKTASANA (WIND RELIEVING POSE)
Pawanmuktasana as name indicates its wind relieving pose. In this pose of yoga external pressure applied on abdominal organ which helps in releases of gas, relieves acid reflux and cures disorder likes dyspepsia.
BADDHA KONASANA (BUTTERFLY POSE)
It is also called butterfly pose due to its resemble to butterfly. Its a beginner level pose. It relieves gas, bloating, cramping and reduces stress.
